Blog 1

A.  Blog entry - 17/06/2013 converting film into different formats.

B. Development work  - Today , I created an IMP folder within my unit 11 folder so that I could save files into it. I located the videos I wanted to use and I copied and pasted the FLV folder into my IMP folder. I then got the original .Mod files and copied and pasted them into my IMP folder, I deleted some of the videos as I only needed four. I renamed them to scene 1, scene 2, scene 3 and scene 4, I also used the full film of all the scenes put together and I renamed that full movie. I then got my four selected video clips and opened adobe media encoder I dragged and dropped the four clips into the encoder. I changed the format of the video by clicking on the drag down box and selected FLC format, I also checked if the output file was in the right place. I then pressed play and waited for the process to be complete. I also done the same process for the full movie video as well. when the process was complete the videos with the correct new formats were saved into my unit 11 imp folder.

 C. How the development work will fit into the brief – I said in my brief that I would have different scenes in my IMP and that I would also have a full movie, in my brief this is section 'I' and I said that you will be able to play the full movie or the separate scenes by doing this development I am allowing for this to happen.
